| Question 1: What's with the gay website name? |
| Well, I'm guessing that you're talking about the 'sk8brder40' in Sk8brder40 Comic Workz. Well, I admit, I do hate the name of the site, too, but I started as a n00b and that's what I decided to name it. I would change it, in fact I have thought about it, but that would take so much work! Think about it. A whole new website and EVERYTHING with the site's name on it would have to be changed! That would take weeks, maybe months of work to accomplish considering how lazy I am. And besides, I am already paying for my domain name, sk8brder40.com, and getting a new one would be a pain. On to the next question! |
| Question 2: Why do you have 5 comics a page? |
| You want the truth? Are you sure? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH! Well, the real reason it because I am too lazy to make a new page for every time I make a new comic. I won't really go into detail about why it's easier for me, but it is. |
| Question 3: Grammar Hater! |
That's not a question! QUESTION HATER! |
Well, it is very true that my older comics had 'l33t' or 'n00bish' writing in them. I apologize for all of the pain and suffering that you have looking over those past comics, but I assure you that the newer comics do indeed have correct grammar and spelling, except for the occasional error that I may put in by mistake. |

| Question 4: Can I affiliate with you? |
Sure you can! Well, you can if your website is any good. I have accepted some pretty good sites for affiliating, and I have accepted pretty bad sites. I'm sorry, I had to admit that. I am now stricter with the people who ask to affiliate with me, though, so make sure you have a decent website. I will no longer accept those crappy sites that have tons and tons of l33t words in them. No one wants a queer comic that's hard to read. Well, if you want to affiliate, check out the affiliate section of the site, and email me at ryan@sk8brder40.com |
| Question 5: How do you make your Escape is Futile comics? |
| Well, actually, it takes A LOT of time to create those comics. First of all, I need to draw everything out on paper with pencil. After, I darken all of my lines. Then, I bring my drawings to the scanner and get it onto my computer. After doing that, I need to open up my drawings in a free software called Inkscape. In Inkscape, I can convert my drawings to vectors (don't ask me what a vector is, figure it out yourself). When I'm done with that, I open it in GIMP 2.2. I copy and paste my drawings where needed and color them (trust me, coloring a vector in GIMP can be a pain in the a- well, you get the picture). When I'm done coloring, I add the text, the speech bubbles, and then add any effects that need to be done. |
